Contei-vos já aqui que resolvi passar o dia do meu aniversário a explorar. Foi a solução que arranjámos para não pensar em nada, nem em saudades nem em distância, e concentrarmo-nos em algo feliz, numa nova experiência que se revelou uma enorme surpresa e que acrescentou tanto a esta aventura que temos vivido pela Austrália. Falei-vos da visita ao Booderee Natural Park e das praias maravilhosas que por lá encontrámos, mas não vos falei da paragem que fizemos pelo caminho em Kiama. 

Ora, Kiama é uma pequena cidade em NSW a 40 km de Wollongong e a 121 km de Sydney. Tem uma paisagem maravilhosa e, por isso, marcámos a cidade como um ponto de paragem durante a viagem para passear um bocadinho e beber um café. Não estivemos por lá mais de meia hora, até porque penso que há muito pouco para visitar para além da zona da costa que só por si mereceu a visita. Ficam as fotos!

I already told you here that I decided to spend my birthday exploring. This was the solution we found for not thinking about how we miss our families and the distance to Portugal, so we focused on something happy, a new experience that revealed to be a great surprise that made our Australian adventure even better. I told you about the visit to Booderee Natural Park and all the beautiful beaches we found there but I didn’t tell you about the stop we made during the trip in Kiama. 

Well, Kiama is a small town in NSW, 40 km away from Wollongong and 121 km away from Sydney. Kiama has a gorgeous landscape and, as that, we decided to stop there to walk around and have a coffee during our trip to Jervis Bay. We weren’t the for more than half an hour and I think that there are not many places to visit there besides the coast. I’ll leave you with the photos we took!
