Ainda vamos a tempo de falar sobre presentes de Natal? É que depois disto, acabei por nunca contar por aqui o que o homem de barbas (não necessariamente brancas) me trouxe. 

Lembram-se de vos ter dito que era eu quem, de forma subliminar, escolhia os meus presentinhos? Esqueçam. Passaram-me a perna e aproveitaram-se de mim e da minha inocência. Usaram dicas que eu própria dei sem me aperceber. Ora, acontece que eu sou pessoa de andar sempre atenta a tudo o que é concertos e festivais que incluam nomes que me agradam. Há uns bons tempos, cruzei-me com um festival que vai acontecer na Austrália por onde vão passar, entre outros, Nick Murphy aka Chet Faker e Tame Impala. Conversei com o homem sobre isto, assim em cinco minutos mas ambos chegámos à conclusão que não era coisa a apostar dado o preço dos bilhetes. Pensei “que pena”, mas ultrapassei rapidamente. Nunca mais me lembrei daquilo nem nunca, nunca mesmo, me passou pela cabeça que pudesse ir lá parar. 

Até que... no dia 24 de Dezembro, percebo que o meu presente da Natal do homem das barbas (outra vez: não necessariamente brancas), é o embrulho mais pequeno, mais fininho que alguma vez lhe vi nas mãos. Temi, temi porque o homem anda a ser pressionado para me pedir em casamento e nunca se sabe o que o calor pode fazer ao bom senso e ao cérebro da pessoa humana... (ahah). A medo lá desembrulhei a coisa e... ta-daaaaaaa... dois bilhetinhos para o Laneway Festival! 

Ora então, o St. Jerome's Laneway Festival acontece em vários pontos da Austrália em diferentes dias. Para Sydney estão reservados Nick Murphy aka Chet Faker e Tame Impala, como já vos disse, Glass Animals, Kind Gizzard and the Lizzard Wizard, Tycho, Tourist e mais uns quantos. A 4 de Fevereiro lá vamos nós, sem sandocha na mala, que é proibida. Ainda não sei bem a que vai saber um festival sem uma sandes de ovo e um pacote de batatas fritas acompanhado de uma cerveja. Ainda assim, tenho a maior esperança que Nick Murphy venha compensar esta enorme falha!

Is it still time to talk about Christmas presents? The thing is that after this, I ended up never telling here what the beard man (not necessarily white) brought me. 

Do you remember telling you that it was me that, on a very subliminal way, chose my presents? Forget about it. I was completely surpassed and he took advantage of my innocence. He used tips I gave without even noticing. 

Well, I am a person that is always attentive to whatever happens about music concert and festivals. Some time ago, I came across a festival that will happen in Australia where, among others, Nick Murphy aka Chet Faker and Tame Impala are going to be. I talked to the man about it for like five minutes and we both came to the conclusions that it was not something to bet on because of the price of the tickets. I thought “what a pity”, but I got over it quickly. I never remembered that again and never occurred to me that I could actually go there. 

Until… the 24th of December, when I realized that my bearded man’s Christmas gift was the smallest, finest package I have ever seen. I feared, I feared because the man is being pressured to ask me to marry me and you never know what heat can to the good sense and the brain of a human being… (ahah). I unwrapped the thing and… ta-daaaaaa! Two tickets to Laneway Festival!

Well then, the St. Jerome's Laneway Festival happens in several points of Australia in different days. For Sydney are reserved Nick Murphy aka Chet Faker and Tame Impala, as I told you, Glass Animals, King Gizzard and the Lizzard Wizzard, Tycho, Tourist and a few more. On February 4 we will go, without our egg sandwich on our bag, which is forbidden. I’m still not sure what a festival will taste like without my egg sandwich with a packet of chips and a beer. Still, I have the greatest hope that Nick Murphy will make up for this huge failure!
